Lietenant Colonel Stephen V. DePalo has served as the Activity Director for AFSPC-FC from 1997 to 2008. He is currently an Air Force Reservist with the CAP-USAF, Middle-East Liaison Region (MELR), Andrews AFB, MD, a position he has held since 1990.

Lt. Col. DePalo is a Spacecraft and Mission Design Systems Engineer with NASA, Goddard Space Flight Center, MD. He has worked various projects at NASA to include the following:

• Hubble Space Telescope,

• GOES weather satellite, and

• The Living with a Star program, to study the sun. (Currently)

He is American Red Cross First Aid and CPR qualified. Married, with three children, he resides in Baltimore, MD.
